Ordering meals online is no longer an emerging trend in the United States. It has become commonplace, with 62% of adults using ordering platforms and 17% consuming at least one delivered meal each week. Against this backdrop, CookUnity has expanded in North America, with a presence in eight major cities: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Seattle, and Toronto.
With $750 million in annual recurring revenue (up 80% year-over-year), the North American company demonstrates the strength and growth potential of its subscription model. The meals are carefully prepared and designed to be enjoyed throughout the week, starting at $10.49 per meal (with subscription options for 4, 6, 8, 12, or 16 meals per week).
In 2025, CookUnity delivered 43 million meals and welcomed around 30 new chefs, including Marcus Samuelsson (winner of 8 James Beard Awards—the Oscars of the culinary world), and helped 250,000 Californians access therapeutic meals designed to support the treatment of chronic conditions. “We founded CookUnity with a simple belief: quality cuisine should be accessible beyond restaurants. Our model allows chefs to focus on their core business—cooking and creating—while we handle sourcing, packaging, and nationwide delivery logistics. It’s a unique model for culinary creators, which also makes it possible to offer delicious and affordable meals at scale, ” said Mateo Marietti, co-founder and CEO of CookUnity.
CookUnity enables the 180 chefs on its platform to build their brand and generate additional income—all without opening new restaurants.
