Innovative company - Sierra Space: successful plant cultivation programs in space

Sierra Space, a company featured in the Odyssey Vintage Altaroc Odyssey , has just announced the success of its various programs dedicated to growing plants in Earth orbit. Vegetables have been growing on the International Space Station since 2014, and Sierra Space is expected to successfully grow its first head of lettuce soon. To combat gravity and the lack of fertile soil, the team has developed a system capable of stimulating plant growth in space using built-in lighting, programmed watering, and controlled temperature and carbon dioxide levels.

Sierra Space is a subsidiary of Sierra Nevada, which has signed an agreement with NASA to deploy unmanned flights to the International Space Station, and works in collaboration with Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin.
