Odigo Partners with Scaleway to Keep Its Customers' Data in Europe
Odigo, a French software publisher specializing in contact center solutions (platforms that manage customer service calls, chats, and emails), which is part of the Odyssey Vintage FPCI Altaroc Odyssey portfolio, is partnering with Scaleway, the “European and sovereign cloud provider.” The French firm aims to host its AI tools on servers located in Europe and subject to European law. Its clients—including Air France-KLM, Allianz, and Fnac-Darty—will thus be able to use its solutions without their data being subject to requests from foreign authorities, a growing risk given the dominance of U.S. infrastructure. Facing industry giants such as NiCE and Genesys, Odigo is banking on this guarantee of sovereignty as a competitive advantage with organizations that are most sensitive to privacy concerns.
