Marlink Acquires GRC to Strengthen Defense Communications in Europe
Marlink, a global specialist in communications for the merchant and leisure marine sectors and a co-investor in the Vintage FPCI Altaroc Odyssey 2021, has just acquired GRC. This British company designs satellite, radio, and IT network communication systems, particularly for NATO. Its equipment can be rapidly deployed when terrestrial networks are down, overloaded, or under threat. Thanks to this acquisition, Marlink will be able to offer governments and operators of critical infrastructure a comprehensive solution combining satellite communications, computer networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity. The group is thus strengthening its presence in the United Kingdom, following its provision of equipment to Poland’s largest shipping company and CMA CGM.

Salesforce is guided by a simple belief: to be truly useful, its AI assistants must understand the company’s structure, reporting relationships, and each employee’s access rights. HiBob manages precisely this human and organizational data for 5,500 companies in more than 170 countries. This data will help AI agents provide more accurate responses tailored to each employee’s role and context.

Easyfairs, a Belgian event group active in the Vintage FPCI Altaroc Odyssey 2023, has just acquired The AI Conference, an event dedicated to the practical applications of artificial intelligence. Founded in 2023 in San Francisco, the event is enjoying growing popularity, driven by advancements in AI. The next edition, to be held next month, will bring together 120 speakers, including Peter Norvig, former head of research at Google; Emmanuel Ameisen, a researcher at Anthropic; and Annie Surla, head of deep learning at NVIDIA. The event’s program covers the creation, deployment, and oversight of AI systems, bringing together researchers, developers, companies, and executives. This acquisition marks Easyfairs’ second acquisition in the United States and brings the number of trade shows and events it owns in the U.S. to four.
UltraGreen.ai Sees Its Profit Jump 53% in Six Months

Teamworks supports Mexican soccer, from youth development to the national team.
From youth academies to the national team, Teamworks will centralize the data that tracks the progress of Mexican players. Active in the Vintage FPCI Altaroc Odyssey 2022, the U.S. company has just signed a partnership agreement with the Mexican Soccer Federation. Its platform will be deployed in youth academies, men’s and women’s leagues, and the second division.
It will consolidate information that is currently scattered among different clubs: talent scouting, physical conditioning, medical monitoring, and performance evaluation. The goal is to maintain a continuous record of a player’s history as he changes clubs or moves to the next stage of his career.
This partnership marks Teamworks' largest rollout in Latin America. The company is expanding the use of its tools—already used by Premier League and NFL teams—to the region.
