Databricks, a company featured in theOdyssey Vintage Altaroc Odyssey , has just acquired BladeBridge, which offers a suite of tools based on advanced language models that enable the analysis, conversion, and reconstruction of databases in record time. Unlike traditional solutions, its approach adapts to the specific architectural characteristics of the source databases, ensuring a seamless conversion and full control over migration settings. Already adopted by many companies, the platform has notably facilitated migrations from Amazon Redshift, Teradata, and Snowflake to Databricks SQL.

A strategic partnership to support Databricks' growth

By making BladeBridge's tools available free of charge, Databricks is strengthening its appeal and looking to boost its growth, after raising $10 billion last December. This acquisition is part of a broader strategy, which includes the development of new AI solutions and international expansion.
