Easyfairs organizes and hosts events designed to bring communities together and offer them a glimpse into the professional world of tomorrow, across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, chemicals, logistics, transportation, and AI. The group currently organizes 110 trade shows in 16 countries (Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States).

The Belgian company has announced the acquisition of Food Hotel Tech and Tech For Retail, two leading events held at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center. This acquisition is part of Easyfairs’ overall strategy to strengthen its portfolio in the tech sector, at a time when the field is gaining momentum in the professional world.

This acquisition reflects the group’s belief in the growing role of technology and data in serving the retail and hospitality sectors. The rise of technology in these sectors is profoundly transforming the entire value chain, from the customer experience to operations, supply chains, and customer relations. In this context, the need for robust, unifying platforms is growing, as exemplified by these two trade shows that bring together innovators, distributors, and hospitality professionals.

“The team behind these two exceptional events is deeply rooted in its communities, which is essential to us at Easyfairs. We are delighted to welcome the talent behind Food Hotel Tech and Tech For Retail and to see them continue to grow. What has particularly struck me throughout this process is the respect these teams enjoy in their respective markets. I admire what they have accomplished, and our role now is to support their vision, says Alisson Willis, CEO of Easyfairs UK & Global.

The next edition of Tech For Retail will take place on November 30 and December 1, 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and is expected to welcome more than 15,000 visitors and 420 exhibitors. Food Hotel Tech, meanwhile, will take place on March 31 and April 1, 2027, also at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, and is expected to attract more than 8,500 visitors and 200 exhibitors. Participants will benefit from content presented by leading speakers, hands-on workshops, presentations of innovative solutions, and award ceremonies, providing them with the knowledge and contacts necessary to support the growth of their businesses.
