Strategically strengthening our offering in Asia
Howden, a company featured in the Vintage Altaroc Discovery , recently announced the acquisition of the Hong Kong-based company Storfield. Founded in 1985 by Tony Lau and currently led by CEO Victoria Lau, Storfield has established itself as a leading player in asset protection. The company offers comprehensive insurance solutions covering a variety of sectors, such as racehorses, fine art, luxury vehicles, and yachts, as well as products tailored to the specific needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
Thanks to this acquisition, Howden's workforce now numbers around 200, with a network of 17 offices and 1100 employees across the Asia-Pacific region.

This acquisition is part of Howden's overall strategy to expand its network in Asia, following its recent entry into the Japanese reinsurance and retail markets, with the launch of Howden Re Japan and the acquisition of Foresight.
