HawkEye 360 sends 9 satellites into orbit to improve data collection and meet global demand

Its Cluster 8 satellites have reached their initial operational status. Launched into medium-inclination orbit in April 2024 at the same time as Cluster 9, its 9 satellites began delivering improved revisit rates and extended data coverage over the world's most populated regions in July.

HawkEye 360 now operates a growing constellation of 29 satellites, which play a key role in the detection, characterization and geolocation of a diverse range of RF signals critical to communication, navigation and security. The newly operational Cluster 8 features enhanced payloads that enable 5 times greater data collection, wider bandwidths and multi-band signal capture.
