Since its launch in 2009, FDA has relied onIBS Software's cloud-hosted passenger services system to manage its core operations. "This renewal goes beyond a simple contract extension, and reflects the mutual trust built up with Fuji Dream Airlines over the years. In an industry where mission-critical digital solutions demand long-term reliability, strong partnerships like ours give airlines the freedom to innovate and serenely enter new phases of digital transformation. We are proud to continue supporting FDA in this adventure," explains Marco Contento, Vice President of Aviation Services at IBS.
The renewal of the partnership between FDA and IBS enables the Japanese airline to secure all its critical passenger experience systems over several years, while accelerating its technological modernization. It also guarantees the continuity of a central system that manages reservations, check-in, boarding and flight management, now entirely hosted in the cloud. This means that FDA benefits from a more stable, flexible and resilient infrastructure in the face of technical contingencies, with a significant reduction in maintenance costs. Thanks to this complete technological foundation, the Japanese airline can now focus its efforts on innovation and optimizing the customer experience.

Fuji Dream Airlines has established itself as an innovative Japanese regional airline. Today, it deploys a fleet of some 15 aircraft, each sporting a unique color (symbolizing the cultural diversity of Japan's regions), to nearly 17 national destinations, with hubs in Shizuoka, Nagoya and Kobe, and up to 90 daily flights.
