DataSnipper has had a measurable impact on the productivity of audit and finance teams, generating over $1.4 billion in productivity gains for its customers. This means that its clients, spread across 175 countries, have avoided the equivalent of $1.4 billion in manual work through automation, completing tasks in minutes that previously took hours or days.
These productivity gains were made possible by the launch of AI agents specialized in automating manual and repetitive tasks, in collaboration with Microsoft. To test the relevance of its agents, DataSnipper was able to draw on its extensive network of clients, including the "Big Four" (the world's four largest audit firms: Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC).
This massive automation relies on several specific agents, including Excel Agent, which introduces autonomous, query-driven analysis and decision support, all within the familiar Excel environment used by audit teams. But also DocuMine, an AI-powered document analysis tool that eliminates tedious manual searches through long and complex documents to identify specific information. In 2025, DocuMine was selected for the magazine TIME's list of the best inventions of the year . TIMEmagazine's list of the best inventions of the year in the Artificial Intelligence category, placing DataSnipper among a select group of technologies recognized for their excellence in AI innovation.
These impressive results can also be explained by the changes affecting the audit and consulting sector. DataSnipper reports an increase of around 100% in the number of new clients over one year in sectors such as banking, insurance, and manufacturing. The use of DocuMine also grew significantly in 2025, with an increase of more than 1,100% in active usage, illustrating how quickly teams have integrated AI into their daily auditing and finance practices.
"The year 2025 has shown how quickly AI can transform the way audit and finance teams operate when it is designed to be transparent, accountable, and integrated directly into everyday tools," concludes Vidya Peters, CEO of DataSnipper. "In 2026, we will continue to deploy AI automation, strengthen our platform, and help teams around the world work with greater accuracy, efficiency, and confidence."
