Combining a sector-based vision with geographical proximity

Bridgepoint has a long history and a strong presence in almost all European countries. In recent years, it has adopted an increasingly sector-focused approach. In each of its 10 offices, it actively seeks out transactions specific to its areas of expertise.

The offices are grouped into two European hubs (covering Northern Europe and Southern Europe, respectively), which can also call on the support of the American or Chinese hubs to support the development of portfolio companies on an international scale. Each hub makes efficient use of the resources of the four to five underlying countries, enabling the company to mobilise the best industry experts or regionally best-connected people for each transaction.

Bridgepoint's long-established presence in every European country, where it is considered one of the leading local players, enables it to originate many transactions on an exclusive basis: over 80% of transactions come from off-market sources or are subject to limited competition.
