About RoC

Founded by French pharmacist Jean-Charles Lissarague, RoC has distinguished itself for over 65 years through its clinical expertise and capacity for innovation: after creating the first hypoallergenic skincare formulas, the brand developed the first SPF sunscreen capable of proactively preventing the signs of aging, and discovered a method of destabilizing retinol, which has helped promote its daily use. 

Formerly a division of Johnson & Johnson, the company became independent when it was acquired by Gryphon Investors in 2020, and has since enjoyed very strong growth that has expanded it considerably. RoC offers a range of 34 facial care products. Boasting remarkable sales growth (+17%/year on average between 2019 and 2023), the brand occupies a leading position in the affordable high-end segment, a fast-growing niche market with great potential. 

Recently valued at $522 million, the company's medium- and long-term objective is to continue asserting its leadership position in the upper-middle market segment of anti-aging products, while expanding its presence in Europe and maintaining sustained growth in the United States, where it has a recognized brand image.
