IRIS Group, a global provider of accounting, edtech, HR and payroll solutions, has launched a strategic partnership with PAGS, the leading provider of special education technology solutions, to streamline the management of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in schools across England, offering more comprehensive support for neurodivergent learners.

Around one in seven people in the UK identify as neurodivergent, making it more important than ever to have the right infrastructure in place to support neurodivergent learners and help them thrive in educational environments.

By integrating PAGS technology into IRIS' Ed:gen and iSAMS platforms, schools will be better equipped to manage assessment, development and support for special needs students. Currently, over 1,600 educational institutions use Ed:gen or iSAMS as their School Management Information System (MIS).

Schools using IRIS Ed:gen and iSAMS will now be able to automatically integrate pupil data into the PAGS management system, significantly reducing the time needed by Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to create targeted, personalized plans and assessments for SEND pupils.

The partnership will also help streamline high-needs applications for government funding - a process that can typically take SENCOs an average of 20 weeks and requires a large amount of evidence gathering. PAGS supports every step of the application process and will automatically pull information from IRIS platforms to reduce the time spent completing applications.
