The Nordic XI fund (part of Vintage Altaroc 2021) ranks second in Europe behind Saturn 3, with €9 billion raised, 45% more than its predecessor(€6.1 billion raised in October 2020 by Nordic X), and stands out for its 100% re-commitment rate among Nordic's historic investors.
Against an uncertain and volatile macroeconomic backdrop, Private Equity fundraising in the first nine months of 2022 was the second-highest on record, with at least $527.9 billion raised by Private Equity vehicles, according to data from Private Equity International magazine. This amount, down 14% on the same period last year, nevertheless exceeds the previous records set in 2019 and 2017.
Europe accounts for around $112.4 billion of the capital raised since the beginning of the year, behind funds specializing inNorth America($478.5 billion ), multi-regional funds($365.7 billion) and funds focusing onAsia-Pacific($129.5 billion ).
