Easyfairs, already well established in Europe, is set to acquire EPC, a trade show that has become a must-attend event in the world of major energy projects. The growth momentum surrounding the show was a key factor in this decision. Launched in 2022, EPC has doubled in size with each edition and has managed to bring together five major conferences under one roof. In 2025, more than 4,500 participants and 200 exhibitors and sponsors gathered in Houston, attracted by a packed program and leading speakers. The next edition, in 2026, will welcome representatives from McDermott International, Amazon Web Services, Dell Technologies, and NVIDIA, among others.
EPC's strength lies in its ability to evolve very quickly. The exhibition was originally a conference dedicated to the LNG (liquefied natural gas) market for export, before opening up to four other energy segments (petrochemicals and refining, hydrogen and ammonia, sustainable fuels, midstream infrastructure). This decision enabled it to reach a wider audience and attract companies seeking innovative solutions in a rapidly changing sector. EPC's rapid pace of development reflects the market it serves. Energy needs are increasing, driven in particular by the growth of data centers and the rise of artificial intelligence.
At the same time, the transition to more sustainable energy sources is disrupting the sector's balance and increasing investment in new technologies. EPC is therefore establishing itself as an essential meeting place for understanding, anticipating, and supporting this transformation.
Founded in 2004, Easyfairs has established itself as one of Europe's most dynamic event organizers. The Brussels-based company's approach has enabled it to attract more than one million visitors each year to dozens of trade shows in twelve different sectors. Easyfairs has recently strengthened its presence in many countries, notably with the acquisition of the largest trade show in Switzerland and two acquisitions in the United Kingdom.
