CookUnity 's mission is to give visibility to chefs and offer consumers exceptional, ready-to-eat meals that have never gone through the freezer. The service is now available in Canada with over 100 fresh dishes, designed by award-winning Canadian chefs such as Patrick Kriss (whose restaurant Alo was Canada's best restaurant from 2017 to 2019, and ranked 3rd today, with a Michelin star), Hemant Bhagwani, Dadrian Coke, all based in Toronto. They are joined by three already iconic CookUnity chefs, who are now expanding their influence in Canada: Einat Admony (ranked "Rising Female Chef" by Time Out New York in 2020), Jose Garcés, and Chris Ratel. The dishes on offer are designed to reflect Canada's cultural and culinary diversity (with Indian, Jamaican, Chinese, Lebanese dishes...) in a spirit of celebration of local and international gastronomy.
Designed as a truly decentralized culinary scene, the platform connects renowned chefs with consumers in search of quality, authenticity and gastronomic diversity. Each week, subscribers can choose their menu from over a hundred original creations, using seasonal ingredients and the exacting standards of the finest restaurants. The menu starts at $10.49 per meal, with a subscription option for 4, 6, 8, 12 or 16 meals per week.
