Business demand for more sustainable tech solutions keeps growing. Repairing and reusing IT gear is now a key strategy for companies. By extending the life of their devices, they're cutting their carbon footprint big time, while also saving money on buying new stuff. Foxway already extends the lifespan of 2.39 million devices (computers, smartphones, tablets) each year. With 18 offices across Europe, from Spain to Norway, Germany, and Estonia, Foxway is establishing itself as a leader in its sector on the Old Continent.
In this context, Foxway acquired ABD in order to strengthen its presence in Europe and increase its capacity to meet the growing demand for refurbished computers, reconditioned to very high quality standards. ABD is a Romanian company based in Bucharest, specializing in the advanced refurbishment of professional computers. It performs technical operations such as respray (industrial repainting of the chassis) and skinning (repair of the outer casing) to restore the devices to a level of aesthetics and quality close to new.
This acquisition is fully in line with Foxway's long-term ambition to build a stronger European infrastructure dedicated to more responsible technology consumption, enabling the repair, upgrade, and return to market of an ever-increasing number of devices.
