The Altaroc product range
Summary
In this presentation, Frédéric Stolar outlinesAltaroc vision and value proposition, which is based on the combined experience of more than 80 years in private equity with Maurice Tchenio. Their ambition is clear: to democratize an asset class historically reserved for institutional investors by making it accessible, understandable, and structured for private clients.Until now, private equity has been difficult to access due to high minimum investment thresholds, its illiquidity, and its operational complexity. Altaroc these challenges with a simplified offering based on “vintage” portfolios, built each year around leading global fund managers. Each vintage invests primarily in the best-performing and least volatile segments of the asset class—namely, growth and buyout—supplemented by co-investments at no additional cost, thereby enhancing performance potential. The approach is based on global, sectoral, and geographic diversification, with a rigorous selection of the best managers. Altaroc “pure” private equity, with no exposure to other asset classes such as debt or real estate. A key differentiator is the alignment of interests: the founders invest personally alongside clients, under the same terms.Innovation is also reflected in a comprehensive digital platform designed to simplify the user experience. It offers seamless access to information, reports, simulations, and educational content for both advisors and end investors. Finally, Altaroc longer limits itself to offering funds but is developing a comprehensive wealth management approach. With its “2.0” version, the platform enables users to build personalized investment strategies—such as retirement planning—using private equity, in line with institutional practices.
