A strategic entry into the Netherlands
Cary Group is taking another step forward in its development on the Old Continent by entering the Dutch market. Through its German subsidiary Zentrale Autoglas, the Swedish company is acquiring AGS Holland Distribution B.V., the Dutch leader in the distribution and installation of glass for buses and coaches. This acquisition opens the doors to a 13th European country for Cary Group and further strengthens its presence in the heavy vehicle segment. "AGS Holland Distribution is an undisputed market leader with strong technical expertise and a business model that is perfectly aligned with those of Cary Group and Zentrale Autoglas. We see potential in the areas of purchasing and logistics as well as in sales, " said Helge Prigge, Managing Director of Zentrale Autoglas.
Founded in 1991 and based in Rotterdam, AGS Holland Distribution B.V. has established itself as a leading player thanks to its expertise in technical and large-scale glazing, particularly those incorporating driver assistance systems. The company acts both as a distributor of high-quality windshields and components and as an installer, thanks to a national network of franchisees carefully selected for their expertise.
By joining Cary Group, AGS Holland Distribution B.V. complements an already strong offering in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, and the Nordic countries. Now present in 13 European countries, Cary Group employs nearly 4,000 people, has more than 1,500 authorized centers, and replaces approximately one million windshields each year, serving both private individuals and large professional fleets.
Strengthening its presence in France and Belgium
Cary Group also announced the acquisition of 70% of Glazing Services, the specialist in glazing for buses and coaches in France and Belgium. This transaction consolidates the Swedish group's position in strategic markets and accelerates the development of a pan-European offering dedicated to heavy vehicles.
Founded in 2011 and based in Bray-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne), Glazing Services relies on a proven organizational structure, combining its own subsidiaries, franchise partners, and a centralized distribution network. This model enables it to respond quickly across the entire country and meet the demanding needs of large fleet operators, whether public or private.
"Glazing is a highly attractive company with a clear leadership position in its market, strong operational capabilities, and a business model that is perfectly aligned with that of Cary Group. Combined with our existing bus and coach activities in Germany and the Nordic countries, this acquisition enables us to strengthen our European presence and better support our customers operating in several countries," said Anders Jensen, CEO of Cary Group.
